Overview

A console checkers game with a computer opponent and full rule validation.

Technology

  • Modular architecture with interfaces (e.g. IMovementAnalyzer)
  • Dependency injection
  • Game logic separated from the view (BoardServices)
  • Moves for both player and CPU (PlayerPawn, CpuPawn)
  • Input validation and game state management

What I learned

How to turn a rule set full of special cases into clean object-oriented code: small classes with clear responsibilities, interfaces instead of hard dependencies. That made it possible to add the computer opponent later without rebuilding the game logic.
